I'm new to this board but here goes. I recently aquired this from my grandfathers estate and am very curious about it. Anyone know where I could find some info about it? I googled H & AK it with no success. Thanks

'Pistols of the World' 1968 Blair has a photo just like yours but identifies it only as late 19th or early 20th century from Liege Belgium.Perhaps you could find something in a search for gun makers of Liege.

Was just wondering if "H & AK" could be "H & A...K...". The H & A standing for Hopkins & Allen. Just a thought.

Is there anything at all on the top or bottom of the barrel? It's definitely a rimfire, but if it was European, it would have one or more proofs somewhere on it, and if it's US-made, it would likely have a trade-name somewhere on the barrel.
