Hi,
Looking for any info members might have on a "Bengamin Franklin" air rifle.
Anything you can tell me would be appreciated.
Thanks

Joe:
I don't have anything much on air rifles, but I do recall hearing about them many many years ago. As I recall, and this isn't saying much, they were pretty good air guns and produced a faster velocity than most air guns of that era. I am probably almost as old as the gun is so the information is likely to be obsolete and not very accurate.

If it is a Benjamin Franklin it is an old one. In my youth - 1950s - they were universally known as the Benjamin Pump. Their main competitor was Crosman, with the Sheridan as the deluxe pump-up air gun in the proprietary 5mm pellet. Now Crosman owns them all, and there is little difference between Benjamin and Sheridan, with Crosman still a distinct lineup.
There is not a whale of a lot of difference between a current Banjamin/Sheridan and the ones I remember; and eventually owned as a Sheridan Blue Streak.
