Anybody know of a railmount light that uses a high power LED instead of Halogen? I have checked Cabelas and the local shop with no luck. Thanks

Surefire has LED flashlights but, I don't know about the "high power" part.

Take a look. ;)

I saw the new aviator at the SHOT show. Tres cool. It uses 3 led lights and a convential blub. The best of both worlds. :D now I just gotta have one.

Hmm ....

1. Rail-mounted: Surefire Millennium Universal Tac Light System (http://www.san.surefire.com/cgi-bin/main.pl?pgm=co_disp&func=displ&sesent=0,0&carfnbr=267). The M95 or M96 series would probably fit your bill.

2. LED: I'm not sure but you may be able to use one of Surefire's LED conversion heads with the aforementioned MUT units. Call Surefire and ask them if the KL2 will fit the M96 MUT, or if the KL3 will fit the M95.
