Our local fireing range is 15 min away on a streach of road which is frequently turned into a parking lot by a few cops with bad attitudes. Because of this i have been going a range almost an hour away an Im basically fed up with the drive. I have been driving out to the range lately and have been stoped twice and each time i am "asked" :fire: if i am armed which i never was. I am farily sure that when I am armed they will arest me and charge me with something so i was wonder where could i find information about the legal transport and cary of a firearm in Lousisana.

I carry mine in a holster here in Georgia.

If you're going to shoot handguns and you live in a state that issues CCW permits...get one.

Also, go to http://packing.org and familiarize yourself with LA's gun laws so you can make sure you (at least try to) stay on the right side of the law.
