Since I was having an aluminum foil moment, I speculated where this little gem will lead us to in 10 years...

The big problem appears to me to be the fact that there is a wide range of laws regarding "molestation" among various nations. I'm unwilling to do that kind of research, but I know there are things here in the US that are perfectly legal in other countries and likewise things legal here that will get you beheaded in Middle Eastern nations. Thus one nation's pedo is going to be another nation's Just Another Joe...unless we standardize laws...

The best tool of incrementalism: Start with something "everyone" can agree on...

The database would enable police time to be used more efficiently

Oh, no doubt—and so would tattooing an identification number on everyone's left forearm.

Would you be in favor of registering any adult who striped their children naked and violated them with forign objects. Who manipulate their genitals and cause them pain by forcing them to consume potentialy dangerous drugs. All the while periodicly starving their children and subjecting them to inhumane torture. Some of these people even engage in child slavery and forced labor. We need to register such people and keep close tabs on them to ensure such abuse does not happen again.

If you agree with the above statement, you support the registrering and government tracking of every parent.

Would you be in favor of registering any adult who striped their children naked and violated them with forign objects. = Anyone who has ever used a rectal thermometer on a child.

Who manipulate their genitals and cause them pain by forcing them to consume potentialy dangerous drugs. = Changing a diaper and bathing you're infants require you to get into the "naughty bits" every now and then. Any drug is potentialy dangerous. My parents made me take liquid Kaopectate when I was young and had the sh*ts. That stuff is nasty. :barf: Asprin is also a "potentialy dangerous" drug that is commonly given to children.

All the while periodicly starving their children and subjecting them to inhumane torture = Getting sent to bed without supper and getting spanked. I had both done to me and I turned out just fine and am thankfull that my parents did so to me.

Some of these people even engage in child slavery and forced labor. = Making kids mow the yard, do chores, clean their room, do the dishes, clean the house, do the laundry. I did all of this when I was a child.

 The road to hell is paved with good intentions.

I say skip the registry altogether. Anyone who gets caught ( I mean caught as in "in the act") molesting a child gets a bullet in the back of the head 2 minutes after a speedy trial.

Ah, but if you don't do it, CPS will take the child away so that a doctor can do it.

Two things here:
Drugs- see the first point about doctors and CPS
Naughty bits- I see it as teaching the kid biology. I say "son, its time for daddy to wash your junk" Of course you might be stepping into the real of education and the public school teacher's unions will accuse you of home schooling and if you don't toe the line, you'll end up on the 'homeschoolers registry' :scrutiny:

Its either that or CPS steps in, confiscates said child and gets them to a doctor for a state mandated Ritalin prescription for the kids misbehavior. This would be the ideal route for the state as kids on dope are easier to control and its a good to form such behavioral habits at a tender age.

Its sort of like paying off the company store. :D

Remember it's ok when they say it on the news with a smile. "It's a little bit of Big Brother and a whole lot of convenience at the grocery store. People love it and are willing to pay extra for it..."

But if you say it, you're a "tinfoil hatter"......which seems to be the code word for "I'm a conformist" now more than ever...

Ummm... too late, in some cases. See pic...

And before anyone asks: no, that's NOT the correct SSN. Last four were changed to DOB...

Haha, nice. It's too bad most people here won't take anything like this seriously again until there's a democrat in the Whitehouse.

Until then....Blue skies! Blue skies!

What a controlled mass...
