This may belong in General handguns. If so my apologies to the mod who has to move it.

Today I was in my Local gun shop getting a set of sights put on my Kimber. While there I was looking through a Cabinet they have set up for guns that have been there to long, special deals, etc. In it I found a 2 tone Sig 220 in perfect condition for $525.00. It was used however by "used" I mean apparently it has less than 100 rounds through it. There is no holster wear, no slide rail wear and only minor wear ont he top of the chamber where the slide rubs over it.
It comes with only 1 mag and no box. But I thought it was to good to pass up.

P.S. The gun also has Night sights.

Sounds pretty good, especially a two tone with night sites. I've seen heavily used police trade ins for 400 before. A new two tone 220 with NS is what? 800?

I think you did all right.

Good to hear. I gave them 40 bucks to hold the gun while I could think it over. Ask my better half for permission and check out the opinions of other nuts here. I love Sig firearms. I find they are a close second to the 1911 frame on my favorites list. I have owned a 226 and a couple 239s. Honestly I regret selling the first 239 and the 226 more than any other handgun I have ever sold.

Personaly I believe the Sig 220 is the better gun when compared to the 1911.

I like both , but hard to go wrong with the 220 ; enjoy it, and shoot the hell out of it.
