I have a friend's Coach gun with a weak right hammer. I tried contacting Interarms but their net address keeps sending me back to a domain name seller.

He says that the gun has never been reliable on the right side and asked me to help.

According to him, the left is tight and never fails. So comparing the right side; I see that first of all the hammer does not align the same way. Second, it doesn't hit the pin with the same force as the left. Third, it seems loose, as if the square mounting hole of the hammer is somewhat rounded or oversized.

Where do I start?

I had a fellow from M+M contact me with some recommendations of what to check on the shotgun.

I didn't realize who he was.

I'm thinking that I might just send it off to M+M for a real checkup.
