I've made a few mods to this older (pre-series II) Kimber of mine. Great gun... silky smooth action and trigger. The mods reflect my favorite set-up on most of my 1911's:
• Arched, serrated MSH
• Short, solid trigger
And on this model, I brush polished the slide flats which were previously matte finish. I also installed a C&S matched forged hammer & sear set and a pair of Larry Davidson's G-10 grips. Here's how she looks:
