But if you read down into the bill, shotguns and muzzle loaders are exempt from the .50 cal ban. That little clause is intended to ban such rifles as the .50 Browning round from Barret like single and bolt action guns. I mean, do you know how many hunting shotguns there are in Illinois in 12g, 20g, and 16g? Many hunderds of thousands if not over a million.
