On July 23rd, there is a clambake and Civil War skirmish at the Franklinville Conservation Club in Franklinville, NY. On the 24th, there is usually a black powder demo and last year we had a Napoleon Cannon and mortars competing.

Mayhaps check it out.

PS: Franklinville is about 30 mins north of Olean NY and lies northeast of Jamestown.

We had a great time last year. On Sat, they had a re-enactment and on Sunday, they had a Napoleon cannon, three 3" mortars and a BP competition shoot.

We had a blast. (pun definitely intended)
