After having finally given in and shot one several months ago, I have been having a hankering for one. And the result of a purchase today for a hair over 500$ are...

Those G19's are hard to resist, especially the 3rd gens. If the local shop hadnt had the P99 for the same price, its probably what I would have on my night stand right now. By the way, it sounds like you got a good deal, especially if that hicap is a factory.

The size of the 19 is the best compromise for carry, range & IDPA use. Should serve you well.
