It's a Spanish Mauser carbine. Supposed to be a good little rifle. I want one badly.

One of my favorite rifles. Short, easy handling, accurate, decent sights, 7.62x51, flash suppressor, bayo lug, cleaning kit storage, etc.... I added a CW style slight, butt cuff, and opened up the rear sight to get my answer to the "scout rifle" concept.

Sorry. I meant CW Sling..... I replaced the magwell screw with a sling swivel and attached the sling to that and the front sling attachment. It's used as a shooting sling, not a carry strap. It was the original sling for Jeff Cooper's scout concept.

I grabbed mine at a gunshow off of someone who didn't know how to adjust the front sight :cool: Snagged it for $120. I was quite pleased with my purchase. It is a great rifle, and very accurate. Definatly a lot of gun for the money you'll pay.
