Anyone know how to find out is a sliencer is legal in my state, also where to buy and any sugestions. I live in Lousisana and currently have a Glock 17 (9MM) but am looking into getting a Sig P229ST.

I don't believe you posted what state you were in.


What do you want to put the silencer on ? That will make suggestions a lot easier.

Roadwild - Packing.org may well give you enough state-specific info to help on this. Then BATFE site should help further re the tax certificate etc.
