Is it legal in South Carolina to have a cased handgun in the pocket attached to the back of a car seat?

According to http://www.packing.org/state/index.jsp/south+carolina, a loaded handgun can be carried in the glove box or in the console, or a closed saddlebag on a motorcycle.
