I was wondering what ayone knows about the CZ 70. It's a .32 ACP. I saw one advertised for under one hundred bucks so I'n thinking about going for it. I would like to know how big they are and how reliable they shoot. Thanks

I had one for a while. They are about the same size and weight as a Walther PP or PPK. The DA pull is very heavy and the slide is really hard to pull back so it might not be a good choice for a female or someone with weak hands (elderly). Mine was deadly accurate and 100% reliable for the short time I had it. I got it for my wife but when I found out she couldn't operate the slide or pull the trigger it became my car gun. I sold it and used the money for a Charter Arms .38 snubbie and was very happy.

It is a cool gun but it really had no place in my collection except for a fun gun. I could say the same thing about my Walther PP but it seems more refined.

For less than a $100 I would say go for it. Pick one up, shoot it, if you don't like it, you can always get $100 for it. I bought mine for $77 and sold it to a dealer at a gunshow for $125

I've got one. It's a sweet little .32 pistol for less than half the price of a PPK. Under $100 is a good deal if it's in good shape. I paid $120 for mine.

It does have a heavy DA trigger, but mine has a nice SA trigger. I just treat it like it's SA only. It does have a firing pin block and can be carried cocked and locked.

Mine has always been Timex reliable.

For a point of comparison the P32 is about 199 to 229 if you are familiar. Less than half that for a steel pistol that is not much bigger has to get one's attention.
The CZ 70s I've seen at shows were a bit crude in the tooling dept but otherwise well made. Having never been able to fire one I can give you no more info.
I wish they were available locally at a reasonable price. Here, they tip the scales at $150 which is too much IMO for a 32 ACP.

Great little pistol for the money, I am glad I bought one. The DA trigger on mine is about 20#'s, while the SA is about 6#'s. I have had no problems since I got it, and only about 300 rounds through it.
