.45Ruger

This gun is advertised as a 9mm Luger 1911/Hi-Power style Semi-Auto. No info. on who made it or where. Any info would be appreciated. I was thinking of this for a range gun since asking price is just $129.95.

Good review of the Star model B on www.cruffler.com
I've got two of the model B Supers in 9mm. Very smooth action, good trigger pull, the weight of the gun makes it very shootable in the 9mm Luger round. My 13-year old has no problem handling this gun, the slide retracts very easily. Safe for cocked and locked carry, although there is no grip safety.
Fits in most any holster made for the 1911.
IMHO this is easily the best buy in a surplus 9mm currently available.
