Colt GRAY M-4 upper availability?

I've seen these in what appears to be the new, black finish - like Bushmaster's. Is this upper also available in a gray finish that will match the Colt gray preban lower manufactured in early '94? If so, where can I get one?

I've seen references to such on ar15.com but the only one I could find just now is:

The short answer is no.

The Pre Ban Grey is no longer available. What you see now in the M4s is the LEO Black. Basically stripped off a Law Enforcement Only weapon and resold.

Some other M4geries are baked on epoxy refinishes to match the Pre Ban color- a sorry substitution for the original finish IMHO...
