If the United States was attempting to catch a specific individual in real time in Iraq last night makes me wonder...

I think we have people on the ground in Baghdad...

You go, guys!

We have People on the ground, preditors in the air, and for all I know MPs in the Trees.
Some of those on the Ground are natives. They see a chance to get rid of Saddam and they want to help us (or is that U.S.) do it.

Saw a post earlier with a Timesonline link that suggests Delta Force has been there for a couple weeks.:what:

Indeed we do, IMO.

One of the great things about GPS guided munitions is that you can safely put them in very close to your agents.

We've had twelve years of practice at in/exfiltrating Iraq, it's safe to say we know our way around Baghdad pretty well by now.

Bingo Mike.
Someone on the other side tried to sell him to us. May have been a success. We'll see.

I imagine we have had peps on the ground for a long time but they are very involved doing jobs that will make the show go more smoothly when "IT" starts for real. Somehow I don't see Delta or CIA guys with a pair of binoculars being part of what we did last night.

We probably had the entrance to the place covered by cameras.

Not necessarily, Ed.

The bunker busters could be GPS directed.

Oh, I see (said the blindman).

Wouldn't it be sweet if we blew Saddam out of his jammies with that strike?:D

I think we have people on the ground in Baghdad... Yea, any regime that creates hundreds of thousands of refugees over 25 years is sure to make one or two enemies.

Or did the midget say war is peace?
Either way, that'll teach THOSE people to sell gasoline for a dime a gallon and keep the Brits from getting a percentage as they do with the rest of THOSE countries.
It seems like only yesterday that the brits were invading Iran & Iraq as well as Saudi, then Standard Oil stole the franchises and later the brits got them all back (BP).
There's a reason that Orwell isn't required reading in the public skools anymore.
Best!
