Uzi model A sight adjustments

I just figured out that the reason that I cannot seem to adjust the sights on my new-to-me uzi is that the instruction guide that came with it shows model B instructions, I have model A sights.

Is it possible to adjust the sights without the special tool, or am i just wasting my time trying?
