At my local shop. Bluing has some rough spots but overall is nice. The lockup is tight and the trigger is nice. Looks to be in good overall shape. Is it worth the asking price being a pinned and recessed gun?

I hear these guns won't handle a lot of the magnum rounds. Any truth to this?

That gun will handle more magnums than you can.

Around here it would be $300 minimum and near $450 if like new.

370 is about the going rate. I see the 19s at 300-450 routinely and the snubs bring a premium.

There have been reports of a few K frame magnums breaking the forcing cones, but I think it's rare and all but one I have heard of involved 19-5s so I think maybe that specific model had bad barrels.

I have a 2.5" 19 from 1970 that has seen extensive shooting with full loads. No trouble, so far.
