After all, it's what got us here, combined with a lot of courage, a little rebellion and a lot of grit.
God Bless America.......
BTW mine was the XD 40 sub-compact. Take that King George. :D

Bought this.
Springfield Armory Mil-Spec 1911-A1
It is a bit out of my price range, but my dad gave me 400 towards it in exchange for me helping shingle his roof. (suprised me, I thought I was working gratis :D ) Can't wait to get it.

I think it's a great idea....just wish I had thought of it earlier. :cuss:
I did buy 200rnds of .223 at the superhuge Bass Pro Shop in Concord yesterday, if that's any consolation. I also plan on shooting four rounds of 12 gauge this evening. I was going to fire 1,776 rounds of everything I have to celebrate, but that didn't work out. :D
Great way to support the industry and remember how we got to where we are.

I just bought a Glock 21 about 2 weeks ago and 400 rds of WWB .45 ACP yesterday.
I tried to wait until July 4th but I just could not do it. I am sorry but I just could not wait that long to pick up my new addition to the family.
I did fondle..er...*cough*...examine all my guns today. :D
I am very thankful I live in a Country and State that lets me do that.
Happy July 4th. (this may be a little late for those of you on the east coast).
