I've had my MKlll Hunter for a couple of weeks now and just love it. I did order some magazine parts from Ruger to build 6 magazines...they came in and I built them. I also ordered an Eotech Holo sight and that arrived last night.
Excited? Oh, yeah.
Last night I take my purple loctite, attach the Weaver base and get ready for a range sight in visit today.
Excited? Did I mention that?
I leave the house today with a brick of Win Xpert and some CCI Mini mags and half way to the range I realize I left my sand bag at home...crap! I press on thinking of what I can use to make do.
Arriving at the Range, I reach for my wallet...crap! Left it home too! OK, time to really get humble and ask the guy at the counter for a little break, he laughed and I went back to #2.
The Eotech is AWESOME...after a few clicks, I was making ragged holes at 25ft. Then doing well at 50ft...that is until I went to slam one of my new mags home...I put the damn slide button on the wrong side on 3 of the six.
Oh well...time to fix the mags.
