For those of you who have seen them, what is the point of dual PT rails on a holster? I saw an XD GEAR branded OWB paddle holster this evening in a shop. I came to think this is what is meant as "tacticool". If I had a few of them I could do a pretty good "Batman Belt". :D

i don't think i could find a very utilitarian funciton for them but they do look cool. maybe it was done as a joke by the guys at Springfield..
I could hear them now:
"everyone wants those damned rails on everything we make! its just dumb! they even want them on the M1A! how rediculous can you get.. hell, i bet we could make a damn holster with rails on it and people would buy that crap!"

A review I saw said that it allowed you to carry "multiple accessories."
knife weilding mugger: "gimme all your money"
you: "hold on a sec, it's dark" [trying to decide between laser and flashlight]
mugger: . . .
[fumbling with removing light from rail to put on gun]
. . .
aww hell, I'll go find somebody else to rob. :D
I'm patiently waiting for a pistol with 3 or 4 rails (like the new ARs).
