Mainly the one with the AR stock. Anyone have one/shot one? What do you think of it?

FN's shotguns are simply re-badged Winchesters. That said, they do have all the bells and whistles you might want, but at a rather high price. I know CDNN had some on sale a while back for a reasonable figure, but I wouldn't pay retail for one - I'd rather buy a Winchester and add the features I wanted, and save a few hundred bucks.

I have one of the FNs from CDNN. It is a Winchester 1300, rebadged, and not a bad gun at a good price. Has all of the attributes (and drawbacks) of the 1300s. For the money I don't think you can beat the CDNN deal ($269) with the goodies; extended mag, rifle sights, a couple of "tactical" choke tubes, and synthetic stock. The model with the AR type stock, is just that, a 1300 with an AR type stock. Which I do not like for shotguns. I see no rationale for an assault type stock on a pump gun. It does not improve control, degrades weapon retention, and severely limits use of the weapon in close quarters for striking(as in vertical or horizontal butt stroke).
Anyway, if you like 1300s, the CDNN deal may be for you, they still have some.

What are the attributes and drawbacks of the Win 1300 (and FN shotgun). I'm not familiar with that design, but the price looks good.
