I am sorry if this is the incorrect section for this thread but i got my Surefire E2D in the mail today. Very bright! 60 Lumens is ALOT!

I tested the useable distance and i determined it to be about 70-100 yards.

It weighs only 3.2 ounces and is approx. 5 inches long. Awesome quality, great light!

If you don't have 400 bucks to shell out for a quality weaponlight, i recommend this one as the best hand-held substitute.

The "stike bezel" is also a great feature.

Congrats on your purchase. Surefire has a fantastic product line and their lights are, IMHO, well worth the money.

I have a G2, the one with the "plastic" body. 65 lumens for $35. You can't go wrong!

Those are great little lights. :)

I like the strike bezel on the front of those, but the sharp edges on the rear make it really hard for me to use the flashlight with a Rogers/Surefire hold. Ironic, that.

Congrats on your purchase.

I bought 5 of the G2's when they first came out - with the battery-pack offer. I've got 3 & gave one to each of my son-in-laws. I just the other day had to change the batteries on the one by my bed that I use the most. Sure-fire is a great product.
