Good day in Missouri, though I think a standard fee should be present.

The KC Star is reporting that all MO permits issued before this last Tuesday are in violation of the Hancock Admendment and are invalid. But the report was vauge and poorly written. Does anyone have any information?

The KC Star is smoking crack.

Not even the St. Louis Post-Disgrace is that dishonest on this one. Their assumption is that the fee structure used for processing was illegal, and because of this the entire thing was illegal.

Not so.

The court case which allowed counties to sue their way out simply said that there was a method by which counties did not need to accept permits, if that county decided to use it. The overwhelming majority did not. All permits are still valid- the new law changed only the language relating to the fee structure, and nothing else.

I'm not saying TS is right, but if it was in the KC Star and it happened to support their editorial position, odds are they more or less made it up.

Good, a foothold for the Ill invasion. :) Hopefully, the relative crime rate in East SL will skyrocket, showing the error of their ways - probably will, I'm sure.
