Shock and Awe

No kidding! I'm thousands of miles away and after watching the last half hour (still ongoing) I'M sure as heck in AWE. The government section of Baghdad seems to be a pile of smoke, fire and rubble.
Just heard that the command area of three Republican Guard Divisions in other areas are also just big holes in the ground.
They should have listened to the voices on their cell phones for the last two days.
(edited because I can spell, I just can't type!)

They should have surrendered a little sooner. I agree with the plan to hold back the 'shock and awe' if Iraqi's surrrender quickly and en masse. But if they are stalling and jerking us around, then it's time to give them a serious taste of what will happen if they do not surrender quickly and en masse.

I was in a store that had ABC on and I swear the reporter in Baghdad must have wet himself. I'll give him credit, though, those bombs were dropping really close to where he was standing. That takes some major heuvos.
I must say, also, that it was quite impressive.

Shock and AweYep.
Now let's hope the Iraqis surrender right away, so they can get their country back together, and live like civilized human beings.
It is over for God's sake. They need to surrender!:(

Ya, but REAL "shock and awe" would involve DiFi coming out in favor of national shall-issue CCW...

Jim, as much as I would love to see that happen; if that did happen, I will know... WWIII has started. :D
I personally was in awe as well.

Our troops are less than one day away from confronting Saddam's "best" forces.
We've seen some spectacular munitions so far, but haven't seen the Pulse Bombs and other high-tech stuff that we were told existed.
For the last five nights, power and water have been allowed to exist in Baghdad.
Could it be that we're holding off on our most fiercesome weapons until our troops face the Elite Royal Ever-Feared Republican Guard?

When It is possible for anyone in California who meets the criteria to obtain their CCW, I will get mine. On that day I will write a letter to DiFi, informing her of the facts. Next is a selection of a person to take her seat in congress, it ain't going to be a democrat!
CCW in Kali is coming, soon. So is a change in state government.
Vote! Vote now, laugh later.
Vote and put a smile on yer face.
Vote and put a frown on their face.
A very snappy salute to all of our brave men and women who travel in harms way. We love each one of them.
Our military is now buying our freedom with their blood. Never ever forget it. Honor them, remember them.
