Well, i have the bestest wife in the whole world. :cool: I came home today, and what is waiting for me for an early birthday present? A brand new CZ ringneck SxS 12ga.
Oh yes.
I have always wanted a SxS, even before i was into shooting. Really, if a SxS doesn't just look pretty to you, something is wrong with you. Cleaned it tonight, practiced mounting it. OHhhhhh nice, comes right to mount, very clean. I thought it was really light. I weighed it. 8 lbs. I'm shocked. It feels like 5 or 6.
I'm very excited to go shoot clays on saturday. I'm going to be more worthless than usual at work tomorrow.

OH yes, I told her when she shoots a straight at either trap or skeet I'll buy her another one (already bought her a Lanbeer O/U and had it cut way down for her).

Are you kidding?
when there are two of you shooting, you go through prodigious amounts of ammo. We bought like 11 more flats last week. I was completely out of ammo ( I felt like Burt Gummer in Tremors 2 :-) ) It had never happened before.
Don't worry, she'll have a straight long before me. :uhoh:

There's something about a SxS that defies definition. They just seem like nice things to have.

I don't shoot them any better than my 870s, but they do not soot any worse either.

Enjoy, and I bet your Wife will love a 28 gauge SxS.....
