Neither our land nor our sea borders CAN be secured, even nominally, by any means that are politically acceptable, IMO.

No you don't understand. REAL SECURITY would be expensive and not politically correct. Much better to form a new cabinet level bureaucracy then actually do something substantial. If anyone has wondered why they haven't seen big callups of the remaining National Guard units as Ridge suggested, it's because the states can't afford it, they are broke too, and the Dept of Homeland Security has no funds to pay for it either. :banghead:

Our government is failing to do the primary thing it's charged with in the Constitution; provide for the common defense because it's spending more tax revenue then it takes in on things that the constitution doesn't authorize the government to do and we as a people lack the sense to know the difference and our elected representatives lack the guts and moral authority to make the unpopular choices these times require :fire:

If they came in via Mexico, they have probably been made U.S. citizens by now. I suspect they can be found: A)Picking up a fat check at the welfare office, B) Registering to vote, C) At a hospital getting a free heart/lung transplant, D) On Oprah, complaining about how bad they have it.
