Understand that my first choice would be for us to get OUT of the UN.

Since that probably will not happen, my next choice would be this. After we finish with Iraq (both the war and whatever rebuilding we do) we announce to the UN that since we were doing THEIR job for them, we will take the total cost of the war and the rebuilding out of our FUTURE dues to the UN. That would take several years to pay off.

Lets see then how well the UN operates without our financial support. If they collapse, oh well.

If you transpose enough GPS digits you could probably confuse the UN HQ in NYC with the Iraqi explosive rubber chicken factory in Baghdad. Is there a French Embassy in Baghdad? We seem to be good at stylish "accidents". Definitely let them foot the bill, as much as I think the establishment is simultaneously ineffective and evil I don't want out yet. For one we need to be there to vote against anything France wants. (We could pay some other country to do this though) Second, given the UN's penchant for electing bumbling idiots with murderous pasts as secretary-general we need to be there to vote against anyone named Clinton.
