If you don't like quiz questions please don't read any more Thanks

Getlemen,
Winchestion Producton as of April 1942, we were at war as of Dec. 1941, showed that Winchester was working on a mostly 48 hr work week. It also was known that Winchester was only making a total of 174 M1 Garands per day. Winchester had received a MUCH HIGHER Priority for equipment than SA. Winchester was to be making at this point 500 M1 Rifles per day.
This one is easy guys.

The quiz is as follows:
With that Priority what was causing Winchester production to be so low?

NEED a FEW HITS thanks

Gentlemen,
The answer to this quiz is as follows:

Remember we were at WAR as of Dec of 1941. Winchester was only working about 1 shift a day on the M1 Garand Rifle. Also Winchester still had 10 % of the work force still doing civilian work. Ordnance was having a MAJOR problem with Winchester this far along with production. Ordnance needed M1 Rifles in the hands of troops. The files on this problem are so bad I call it Winchester-Gate.
I hope this data helps.
Hits thanks

eclancy, thanks. How long did it take for Winchester to get fully up to speed? Or didn't they?
