Mark V "factory 2nd's"?

Anyone have any experience with the Weatherby Mark V "factory 2nd's" that CDNN is selling? Why are they seconds? Is it just cosmetic or what? They are selling them for a heck of a good price and my curiosity has been piqued. I might pick one up in .270 if everything checks out.
