Unfortunately I haven't gotten one, let alone even seen one.I don't know if Magnaporting would do much for these little beasts.I imagine the muzzle flash at night will be blinding with or without Magnaporting. This is a good question and I would also like to know the answer.

RR,

Don't know where in Florida you are, but there is one for sale on Gunbroker in someplace called Winter Haven. I found one last week for just under $600, which seemed fair, just got a note from the seller that it's shipping today. My dealer here (Idaho) still had no idea when they'd get one, I got tired of waiting and poked on the net and found one. I saw two this weekend under $600 on the net, they sold quick.

Here's a link to the one in Florida.

Magnaporting might stop some muzzle flip. I'm sure someone will do it.

Thanks Rick, I'm a couple hours from Winter Haven.Congrats on your find.I already made a trade deal with my dealer.I guess I'll ride it out. There are allot of discouraged people over these Alaskans.I had my fustrations relieved some yesterday. I got a Ruger M-77 "All Weather in 350 Rem Mag.I know the Alaskan will appear sooner or later.I'll check that out. Thanks for the heads up.
