That's a good question. One for which I don't have an answer in fact. It's late, I'm worn out and still in shock that my dad's shipping to Kuwait for 2-4 months. We found out today, he leaves Thursday or Friday... :(

Ok, Sindawe, my bad.
A brief synopsis: multiple clips strung out together mixing american politicians commenting on the war, preachers railing against islam and clips of the wounded and dead civilians. Some clips of our soldiers be/acting like dumbasses (bad choice of words, too much bravado, etc...) and glimpses of overwhelming american military might. All this with the what I assume is emotional (to them at least) music blaring and then falling in the background.


I've been doing some poking around on this board and I found an article about Israeli troops being in Fallujah with us during the big fight and other nonsense. I feel filthy after reading some of it... Where's that cigar chopper so's I can remove the offending fingers that took me there? :uhoh:

Nah, he's Guard. It's something special. They needed a slot filled last week and he inquired about it today, I guess by inquiring he's committed. I don't think I should say anything more about that.

Ideally yes, they like to give as much notice as possible. Sometimes it's not possible, and they need you ASAP. I got deployed on a day and a half notice before. It happens.
