So, today was a good day.

It seems that we overordered 5.56 and belted 7.62, so we had to use some of it.
Soooo, out came 11 M-16s, and an M-60, for a departmental gun shoot/pot luck. About 10 of us shot for qualification (sharpshooter :( ), and then we went rock and roll.
I personaly put a belt of 25 rounds through the M-60, and 5 mags of 30 rounds through a M-16A3 on full auto. It got so hot, I had to watch the way I held it, lest I get burnt.

I'm still grinning. :D

My only complaint: The pistol grip on the M-60 is way too small for my XL paws. Anyone know if Pachmyer makes one? :)

You could've done better than "Sharpshooter" if you hadn't spent your entire qualification round thinking about all that full-auto shooting.:neener:

Actually, I need to practice my standing. I was all over the place.
I shot nice groups sitting and prone.
