I just got a S&W 642 and bought a DeSantis Nemesis Pocket Holsters. It was so bad my 642 would not even stay in it. It was loose and very bad. It must have been sewn tight or out of specs. So I'm still looking for a pocket holster. I'm looking at these.

1. High Noon Holster Pocket Grabber
2. K&D Holster Pocket Defender

Can you all tell me about these 2 holsters and your experience with them for your j-frame?

Thanks
Mike

I do not have any experience with those 2 holsters but the makers turn out fine products, much better than DeSantis. My personal preference in a Milt Sparks PCH-R.

MQuaack -- Recently got a Nemisis and I love it. Send it back to DiSantis..

My 642 fits well in the holster and it is stitched well. I like the position and the "stickiness". My hand comes out with the pistol, not the pistol and holster.

Another vote for the Nemisis. I've used one for a couple of years with excellent results, always stays in the pocket when the revolver is drawn. The Nemisis does come in different sizes, is yours the proper size?

Another good pocket holster, in my experience, is the Galco pocket holster.

I also have the Nemesis and really like it. :) I can't really compare it to anything else since this is the only pocket holster I have ever had.

I've had good luck with the inexpensive Uncle Mike's pocket holster. It fits my 640 perfectly. stays in my pocket when the gun is drawn and cost less than twelve bucks. What's not to like?

The Nemesis was the size they told me to get from DeSantis and online seller.

I sent it back and ordered a High Noon Holster Pocket Grabber and a Uncle Mike's Size 3 pocket holster. I will try both of these.

Bought my 642 about 10 - 12 years ago, not many choices of holsters then.
I picked up a Kramer from Dillon Precision for about sixty bucks IIRC.
Great item.

I've been thinking of getting another for my other side, but I'll probably look at
some of the less expensive ones first.

I highly recommend the Kramer item.

I got my High Noon Holster - Pocket Grabber. (2 day wait for this one) !

WOW Awesome. It is the most perfect pocket holster for a j-frame IMO.

Mike -- glad you found what you wanted.

I took a look at the high noon. Cool.
