Were Dan Wesson revolvers made in a different locations? If so, would the "place of a gun`s birth" give a prospective buyer an indication of its quality? Is Monson, MA a good factory/time for Dan Wesson? Thanks-

The Monson models are generally better than the Palmers. The NY models of today are good revolvers also.

Only the Monson, Mass guns were produced under the watchful eye of Daniel B. Wesson.
Monson, Mass revolvers are considered to be among the most durable and accurate revolvers ever produced. Look up IHMSA records and for years all top places belonged to Dan Wesson revolvers. The Monson, Mass Supermags are truly handcrafted masterpieces.

I did not post this but traded for a Dan Wesson Monson with four barrels today, was not sure but the more I read the better it sounds. Everything was in the origional box except the smaller grips, the large hunting grips were there. Five front sights extra different colors looks to be 98% or better.

Freightman,
Sounds like you got yourself a nice Pistol Pak.
