Boom baby BOOM!

I'm serious as soon as I sell one of my kidneys I am going to buy one of these things.

Hey, Azrael256 can you make me a pocket holster for it?

Geesh, and I thought the 3 inch barrel .500 S&W looked like it had horrible recoil.

I was going to get one of those, but you can have it. I'll wait.

Looks to me like there's .50 BMG revolver soon.

At any rate, I've never found out what makes shooting such a behemoth attractive, except that one can claim to have a 20000 CHF revolver in his hands.

I prefer a good ole .44 mag or .454 Casull if I want to shoot a sixgun...

OK, i know someone is way better at this than me, so correct me if im wrong. Do those cylinder notches seem to indicate that this is a 4(!?) shot revolver?

Indeed, it looks like it's a four shot. The notches, the four rounds pulled from the five round box, the empty space around the loading area...

So, do you think it's enough caliber for deer?

With that gun you can cut out the middleman (butcher) just bring your freezer paper to the woods with you. If you like all hamburger........

Ah, yes, our old friend makes its return. That's been around for some time, but AFAIK the gun was never produced except for the one prototype. As for firing it, well, I can suggest ways of getting carpal tunnel syndrome and torn ligaments that are considerably more pleasant, and take years rather than fractions of a second! :D

(See this thread (http://www.thehighroad.org/showthread.php?t=148420) for an illustration of what I mean... )

I agree. If you need/want rifle power in a handgun, buy a stinkin rifle! Still convinced that the majority of people that buy these hand cannons are thoese that feel the need to impress others or have a shortcoming to try and make up for. :p Those that buy 'em and can accurately shoot 'em I see a bit differently. Those that get 'em and show 'em off more that shoot 'em...well I gave my thoughts of them. ;)

can you make me a pocket holster for it? Probably not. I can, however, make a Mamba sling fit on it.

Well at least it could keep all the .500 safe queens company!!! :)

John Ross! Paging John Ross!

<heh, heh, heh...>

Actually, I can sort asee this as an upgrade of the .45-70 revolvers.

Now, the .600 Nitro is a fairly low pressure cartridge, right? You make the thing big enough and heavy enough, and I would guess that the recoil would be comparable or even less than JR's cut down .500 or a Scandium .44...

The spec sheet says it weighs 6.5 kg. 14.3 lbs!! Probably wouldn't recoil all that bad being such a barge. Rediculous.....interesting but rediculous.
