Somebody was asking me about a .22 conversion kit for the Sig P226 9mm. I'm not aware of Sig making one. Are there aftermarket conversion kits available?

Gopherino April 15, 2009, 08:59 AM Dick - i saw this item in one of the current month's gun mags.I was interested in it myself but forgot where i saw it. So it does exist, i am just wondering whether there are any adverse effects on the pistol for its original caliber, in my case 9mm. MK11 April 15, 2009, 09:46 AM Sig makes .22 conversion kits for the P226, P220 and P228/P229. Just be aware that it may not fit with older West German P226s and P220s.
