Found a near mint Mark II stainless with the 6" round bull barrel. I think the model is KMK512 by looking at the Ruger site. He's asking $325 in a small shop. What is a reasonable offer that I can counter with so not to offend him. I know the guy has to eat, but I don't want to get out the Vaseline.

For all that saw my previous thread, I was comparing the Neos and Mark III. I like the Ruger better and decided to find a used Mark II so that I can upgrade as my pockets allow.

I paid mid 3's for a NIB example like 4 years ago. I'd say a NIB one is about high threes nowadays.

OK. So what everyone is saying is that 325 is reasonable for the model listed.

I paid about $330 for my NIB example about a year ago here in Louisville, Kentucky. Only you can decide if YOU want to buy it though. Great gun IMHO.

I got a MKII 22/45 5 1/2 Bull Barrel.
Picked it up NIB at the gunshow. $259 cash. :)

I got a Mk II 22/45 Stainless 5 1/2" bull barrel last year for about $325. Don't remember exactly, but that's about right for my area. It might be less at chain stores in the cities.

Even if the price is a little high, 20 years down the road it won't seem like much. You definitely shouldn't need vaseline at that price. :D
