Double action revolver options

Remington Rider and the Starr 1858. I don't have any hands on with either. How do their actions stack up against double actions from the present era?

Don't know about the Remington Rider since I've never fired one. I have the Starr. It's a bit heavy at three pounds and the action while a bit overly complicated mechanically performed quite well. I still prefer SA anyway.
