S&W grips

Pardon the crappo pic. Didn't S&W used to produce grips like the ones on the blue 586. These grips are held together by screw, not one piece. I picked them up at a show.

I don't think that they came from the standard factory. PC maybe. You can get more of them from HandgunGrips (www.handgungrips.com) wih out spending a lot of money.

I believe they were available as accessories from S&W over the years.

On page 17 of the Standard Catalog of S&W, it shows a picture of modern grips. The caption calls them, square butt combat grips. They look just like the pair on your 586.
