My favorite range load is 6.5 grains of Unique under a 180 grain West Coast flat point bullet with a Winchester LP primer to light the fire.

My most accurate load is a 180gr Zero JHP over 9.4gr HS-6 with an OAL of 1.255".

For nukes, I like the same bullet and length with 9.7gr 800x.

I don't have my notebook handy, so I won'tput up a charge weight, but I do know that 180gr on Blue Dot at just over 1200fps was the most accurate load I came up with for my 1076.

BTW, the 800x load I just listed is ABOVE BOOK MAX!!!!!

In my experience 800x gives you a lot of wiggle room, and the book max is VERY conservative (IMO).

I wouldn't trust this load to a stock Glock barrel. But if you have a Smith, a Glock with an aftermarket barrel, or a Witness, I say go for it!

For practice: Star 180gr.bullet over 10.5grs. of AA7.
I use AA9 for the real hot stuff which I won't post.
Be safe and have some serious fun with your new 10mm!

My favorite load is the 200XTP over 11.2gr Blue Dot. 1.26" OAL, CCI350 primers. Work up to this load, it is not for everyone, but it throws the XTP at 1285fps from my G20. (It always groups under 2" at 25yds as well).

Go to Glocktalk, the "10 Ring" forum and search for posts by "MCNETT".

Based on those readings, I progressed quickly in 10mm toward 800X, Blue Dot, STEEL, 180 gr, 200 gr, and Beartooth bullets.

That was the kind of progress I made in 9mm with 1000 hours of experimentation, only it only took 20 hours with the hints in MCNETT's posts at Glocktalk.

I second the search for MCNETT stuff. He obviously posts here and all 10mm bodhisattvas owe a debt to his pioneering works.

Another thing about Mcnett's data, he posts loads for his stock barrel and hotter ones for his aftermarket barrel.

I wouldnj't confuse the data either. The brass is given alot more room to expand (or blow) in my stock chambered G29 vs. KKM on a G20. Didn't you post results on some edgy 800X in a Bar-Sto barrel. What would same do in a currently manufactured stock chamber?

McNett posts useful loads, I only post loads that have reached some real limit and are just for point of reference.

Max book load: 8.7 gr 800X max IMR, Win 180 gr JHP, 5", 1.25", 1210 fps, 30 k psi

Max stock G20 load: 11 gr , WLP 1.3", 180 gr FMJ FP .637", tiny bulge, 26% overload

Max G20 w/s Barsto: 15 gr WLP 1.3", 180 gr FMJ FP .637" ok, case full, 72% overload
