[Six-Gun]

I am extremely impressed with the quality of this community. I have opened just 2 threads here so far, and both have recieved an exceptional number of replies. Being a gun enthusiast, I have seen this board many times in passing while doing net searches, and am very pleased to have joined.

Thanks to everyone who's offered advice and wisdom.

I have visited other furums and have been deeply disappointed. I like that people here at THR genuinely care and that THR people are forgiving here if one makes a statement that turns out to have been misinformed. I too have been here a short time and am greatly appreciative.

:) Ain't it a staple of every gun board that there must be Glock/1911 wars? Those two types get along like Greeks and Turks! :cuss: I've owned both and I like both greatly. When we had our Colorado get-together with the guys from the other board, we actually put a Glock and a 1911 on the table and made a little Kum-ba-Ya speech about how they can live together in harmony if we just try :D

I'm happy to say that the other board that I visit primarily is also a fantastic bunch. They are very helpful and a fun group, but it's always good to have a broad opinion base. This board is also filled with plwenty of helpful people, it seems, and I will be around here a lot more from now on.

I have posted over there for almost 3 years. I've had a blast yapping around with those guys, and got a lot of great information from them as well. They're a good, receptive bunch and happy to help, just like here.
