I'm picking up a Mitch Rosen Workman IWB Holster today for my J-Frame 642. This will be my first and primary CCW holster. I like the tuckable feature and they seem to be well crafted.
How many of you use this type of holster? Any recommendations or advise on using it? The one I'm getting is dark brown with a snap loop. I'm looking forward to seeing how it fits with the 642.
Now I just need some smooth wood finger groove grips for the 642. Then I'll be all set.

I have Badger stocks on my pre-agreement model 60. They're made of some kind of funky reddish plywood, but fit my hand perfectly, and take most of the sting out of shooting full house .357 magnum rounds.
I don't have that particular model of Mitch Rosen holster, but have no doubt the quality is tops.

Hope you buy one of Mitch's belts to go with that holster. He overcuts the belt width to perfectly fit the holster. ;)

I had a MR holster a few years back -forget which one it was. It arrived missing one of the bass screws, I had a heck of time getting a new one out of them. Whoever they had/have answering their phones needs a quick course in customer relations - she insisted it was sent with the screw thingie and wouldn't send me another one (all I wanted was the screw). I finally hung up not happy and found a sling screw that fit. I'll never order another product from them - I've ordered a couple from Milt Sparks and am very happy with their products.

I needed another buckle and they wouldn't sell it. My personal feeling about their stuff (3 holsters and 2 belts) was that it was designed for somebody else than me.
You can always tell the guy who's wearing the Rosen belt too, it just looks too wide... cause it is.
