They forgot: the takeover of the US Embassy to Iran in 1979, the bombing of the US Embassy in Beirut prior to the bombing of the Marine barracks, the murder of Leon Klinghoffer aboard the Achille Lauro, the bombings of places frequented by US servicemen in Germany, Daniel Pearls' kidnapping and videotaped execution, and several other incidents I don't recall just off-paw.
