I'm looking at purchasing a SA TRP Operator and came up with a few ?'s. Do you all know what type of night sites SA uses and can you recommed a holster?

I found 2 nice holsters for my TRP Operator:

Kydex - Comp-Tac belt holster

Leather - DeSantis Speed Scabbard

Also, do you know what make the sights are. Mine won't be in until next week but I'm kinda anxious about it.

On the springfield web site it just says Adjustable Night Sights which is very vague. I would also like to find out.

btw, how much did you pay for it? is it brand new? why not get the MC Operator?

I'm paying 1175.00. The only reason why I chose the TRP over the loaded is because of factory installed upgrades and I personally like the full-lenght dust shroud/light rail.

That is a smoking deal on a TRP Operator!
I paid almost $200 more for mine here in California
in May.

I bought the Comp-Tac directly from Comp-Tac.com
and the DeSantis directly from DeSantisHolster.com.

I believe that the night sights are made by LPA in
Italy...not 100% sure. I will see if I can find out.

You should check out the 1911 forum and go to the
Springfield section.

I think they're Bomars. If they aren't actually made by Bomar for Springfield, then they're amazingly good copies.
