The search function doesn't search for short strings, for example, if I go to the autoloader forum and type

walther p5

I get 15 pages that all have "walther" in the thread, but it won't search for "p5" because it is too short. This happens a lot when searching for a specific model number.

Is there any way around this?

Use the * wildcard. IOW, your search arguments would be " walther p5* ".
