OK, cool neck band; well recommended manufacturer... all good.

How do you open the things to change the Durned BATTERIES?!?!?!?!?

Look on the side of the ear piece,right where the band attaches and you will see a little notch between the rubber and plastic. Put a small flat screwdriver or something similar in there and twist and it will pop the outer ring of the ear piece off.

Change batteries ans snap it back on.
