Jeff - antigun Ebay has non-working replica musketoons for $85.

Concerning stories on the use of the musketoon, that wasn't used by Confederate sharpshooters. They preferred the 2 band. I've learned that cavalrymen memoirs or cavalry regimental histories rarely have anything on sharpshooting. Mind you, J. E. B. Stuart did have sharpshooters who were detached like their infantry counterpart. I've never looked into their arms though. Perhaps in the 2nd edition (provided the first gets out) I can have more research in it.
